Agency: DTE Studio Role: Head of Event Planning, Partnerships, & Sponsorships

To celebrate Masthead’s On: Technology issue, and honor our esteemed collaborator, legendary photographer Albert Watson, we threw a party.

After securing a partnership with ROOT Studios, who hosted the event in their largest studio at their Chelsea location, we plastered their walls with Watson’s photographs taken for the issue. Sponsorships were acquired with Devialet and Deep Eddy Vodka, and we partnered with Roc Nation, whose new artist and Masthead contributor Young Paris performed at the event. The photo installation was on view at ROOT NYC through the weekend.

Through word of mouth buzz generated by the event, we were contacted by WWD who ran a feature on our agency, Masthead, and the event.
