Before working with our team, Universal Standard had already carved out a distinct space in the plus-size market - carefully crafted, streamlined and versatile designs for a style-hungry and oft-overlooked demographic. With inclusivity at their core, US was not content staying in their lane - by expanding their size range from 10-28 to an unprecedented 6-32 (now 00-40), Universal Standard blurred the lines between straight and plus size and kicked aside the idea of separate but equal in fashion.
Prior to this exciting expansion, Universal Standard approached DTE for a brand refresh - we designed a new Online Flagship featuring all new ecommerce content, including shoppable content in-motion, editorial features, and video.
Universal Standard would go on to partner with Rodarte, J. Crew, Goop, and Adidas.
